Virtual Buddy Exchange Program

During May and June, 4 of our students who are part of the program, Virtual Buddy Exchange Program : Marina A. 3º ESO, Sara L. 4º ESO, Miguel M. 3º ESO and Adrián D. 3º ESO, had the opportunity to be in contact with other students from the group of ISP schools from Mexico, Ecuador and Malaysia, during their weekly call, in which they exchanged their opinions and tastes on topics such as “confinement for a teenager, music, movies and TV series”.

It was a fantastic learning experience for all:

“The idea was very good because I’m meeting people from other countries and continents from home. I think that with these calls, I am making my English more fluent and I am learning vocabulary. I liked very much yesterday’s call because I connected with Dominica and after the call, we have been in contact.  Thank you”. Sara L. (4º ESO)

“The video calls are a good way of getting to know new peopleas well as a good way to improve your English. It is cool to be able to speak with people all around the world and create friendships that are supposed to last forever. In the end, it’s a very nice way of meeting new people from other countries and an opportunity to understand their culture and how life develops in other countries.”  Miguel M. (3º ESO)

“I love this new virtual exchange program. I think it is a very good initiative and that way you can take advantage and meet new people from different parts of the world. I can’t wait to continue with the Virtual Buddy Exchange Program, meet more teenagers, share opinions and keep in touch in the future”.  Adrián D. (3º ESO)

“Personally, I have had a very good experience with these video calls, meeting people from different parts of the world. I think it’s a very good opportunity to practice English, as well as get to know different cultures and customs”. Marina A. (3º ESO)
